| Abstract/Contents: | CONTENTS NOTE: "Our past experience has shown that patches from inoculations into field trials occur more readily during the first season for P. graminicola than for L. korrae. Half of the entries in this test did not develop patch diseases from either pathogen in any of the three replicates during the first year. P. graminicola and L. korrae caused patches in 46 and 9 of the the entries, respectively, during 1985. Only two of the entries had summer patch in all three replicates, and 11 entries were affected in two replicates. The susceptibility of each entry to summer patch and necrotic ring spot did not appear to be related." |
