Abstract/Contents:Presents a study to investigate turf pesticide fate. Descibes that a better understanding of pesticide fate in turf could help develop a plan to preserve the use of pesticides. Results include that there was a lower concentration of pesticides in soil below the growing turf, however higher concentrations of pesticide were found in soil of more dormant turf. Concludes that "dormant bermudagrass turf may not inhibit the downward movement or may allow pesticide residue to remain in soil."
