Abstract/Contents:Addresses possible preventative treament of Betasan and Dimension to reduce the potential for annual bluegrass encroachment into newly constructed greens. Presents an experiment to "evaluate the response of pure stands of creeping bentgrass." Results included that no herbicide treatment reduced creeping bentgrass one month after application. Concludes that Betasan may be used more safely than Dimension on creeping bentgrass greens in the fall.
