Abstract/Contents:Turflife is a waste recycling plant's humus product (Delaware Solid Waste Authority) which is added to fertilizer materials. It has been evaluated as a soil amendment and as a growth medium for sod production. More recently emphasis has been placed on the evaluation of several Turflife formulations as fertilizers for lawns and golf greens. The article includes topics on formulations, nitrogen release rates, growth distribution, particle size, and use of Turflife as a carrier for herbicides.
