Abstract/Contents:Discusses how STRI presents their research findings to various audiences and states that "research findings have to be presented carefully and acted on by people in many different spheres. In turf management, this ranges from scientists in laboratories to spare-time groundsmen at village sports clubs." Describes the evolution of land management and how this has been documented by the media. Explains media breakthroughs such as color printing and television. Concludes that "the ability of the media to represent people's news and views is stronger than ever, and STRI has been, and continues to be, an invaluable partner."
