Abstract/Contents:Since golf carts are here to stay, let's address the means of control and techniques used to lessen turf wear. The following means of control are available: ropes and signs, painted areas, curbing, angles of entry/exit, the 90 degree rule, restricted use days, electronic controlled pathways, and finally use of caddies. Types of surfaces discussed are as follows: gravel or rock, asphalt, and concrete.
