| Abstract/Contents: | "The past 10 years have seen more changes in the way in which STRI operates than probably any other 10-year period in the Institute's history. Many changes have been structural, necessitated by modern business demands and the developing needs of turfgrass research and consultancy services." Provides an overview of when Dr. Mike Canaway took over the helm as Chief Executive of STRI in 1995. Also overviews the advisory and consultancy services that have developed throughout the past 10 years. Research has also increased great the advisory and consultancyly goals. Explains how research included looking at herbicides, fungicides, wetting agents and new fertilizers. STRI is the UK's leading organization for Turfgrass Research and Consultancy services, and is still growing. |
