| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the various aspects of the new pesticide act and traces the history of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Describes how the FIFRA has evolved under the legislation of the Environmental Protection Agency. Gives a timetable for the adherence to the new pesticide act and suggests other pesticide users to "keep yourself as informed as possible about the new law and its requirements so that you can correspond with your Congressmen, Senator, Extension service, or the EPA when the opportunity presents itself." |
