Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted on annual bluegrass (Poa annua) "to discover ecotypes with natural resistance to various stresses." States that "discovery of greens-type annual bluegrass ecotypes resistant to stress could be used as a seed source itself and shortcut the breeding process." Details the methods and materials used in this study. Reports that "the ability of ecotypes to tolerate cold was weakly correclated with pink snow mould [mold] resistance. This may implicate biological processes tht occur during cold hardening with expression of resistance."
