| Abstract/Contents: | Describes a study started in 2003 "to determine whether cultivars differed in the ability to resist invasion by annual bluegrass." Results include that "overseeded plots had less annual bluegrass than the untreated plots" and "cultivars showed significant differences in their ability to resist dollar spot infection" but not annual bluegrass invasion. Concludes that "on-site studies can be invaluable in helping superintendents make decisions regarding their own golf courses." |
