| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine timing and product effectiveness to suppress green June beetle (GJB) damage on a golf course fairway." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turfgrass fairway consisted of annual bluegrass (20%), creeping bentgrass (20%), and perennial ryegrass (60%)." Lists treatments evaluated in the study, including DPXE2Y45 1.67SC and Merit 75WP. Reports that "the high rate of DPXE2Y45 1.67SC and Merit 75WP applied 31 May provided significant reduction of GJB surface damage when compared to the untreated check. However, only the high rate of DPXE2Y45 1.67SC applied on the second application date (31 Jul [July]) provided significant suppression of inverted GJB tunnels." States that "no phytotoxicity was noted." |
