| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to compare DPX E2Y45 to Merit and Arena in treating European chafer (EC) in the summer. Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the trial was split into early and late Aug [August] applications (7 Aug and 28 Aug). The grass was maintained at a ht [height] 2.5 inches on an as-needed basis and was cut two d [days] prior to applications." Reports that "the standards, Merit 75WP and Arena 50WDG, and the high rate of DPX E2Y45 1.67SC (0.26 lb [pound] (AI [active ingredient])/acre) provided excellent control (over 90%). No phytotoxicity was observed." |
