| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to determine the efficacy of "chlorantraniliprone, an experimental compound" in controlling Japanese beetle (JB) larvae on a golf course fairway. Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that the turf was "maintained at a ht [height] of 2 to 3.5 inches...Plots were irrigated with 0.2 inch water within 1 h [hour] after application." Reports that "all treatments reduced insect populations significantly, including Merit 75WP and Arena 50WDG, which were included as industry standards." |
