| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted "to determine the effect of irrigation on product performance when applied in mid-June to control a predominant northern masked chafeer (NMC) white grub population on a turfgrass area maintained on a golf course driving range." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turfgrass area consisted of Kentucky bluegrass (10%) and fine fescue (90%)...The area selected for the experiment had been infested with a natural population of NMC grubs during the spring of 2007." Lists treatments evaluated in the study, including Acelepryn 1.67SC, Merit 75WP, and Mach 2 2SC. Reports that "all treatments provided signficant suppression of JB and NMC disregarding irrigation treatments. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
