About The Noer/Milorganite® Image Collection

The Noer/Milorganite® Image Collection, widely known as the "Noer slides", includes photographic materials taken from the 1920s through to the 1980s. This set of data is for about 14,000 35mm slides with ledger data from the Image Collection. More images will be added in the future, as time and support are available. Our special thanks to the O. J. Noer Research Foundation, the Wisconsin Golf Course Superintendents Association (WGCSA), and the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation (MTF) for their lead efforts. Slide Numbers range from 1 to about 14500. There are a few slides with alpha modifiers on the number, these slides will not be included in this range.

Approximately 99% of the collection has assigned years, with 90% of those years being between 1940 and 1969. There are a few slides with dates that do not conform to normal dating conventions, you can include these by checking the box for "include slides without specific dates".
