| Abstract/Contents: | "Preemergence herbicides form the base of a chemical weed control program in turfgrasses. This group of herbicides has been and is likely to remain the preferred method for controlling crabgrass and goosegrass. In the last three to four years, several "new" preemergence herbicides have been registered for use on turfgrasses. For 1987, several of these herbicides have been added to the University of Georgia's recommendations for turf weed control." Includes table of herbicides and recommended applications. |
