| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a need for an acceptable plant growth regulator in spite of research for 20 years producing a modest success. Introduces a PGR created by the Monsanto company called MON-4620 and the results of field tests. Tables are included which reflect rate response depending on the number of days after treatment; the spectrum of efficacy; response of major cool and some warm season grasses to MON-4620 and MON-4621; root dry weight as a percent of control. |
