Abstract/Contents:Describes a bad drainage problem that forced the Greenville Braves (a minor league baseball team) to a new home stadium. Describes how an upstate South Carolina community and the baseball team couldn't reach a tenative agreement which would help work out a deal to build a new stadium or renovate the current stadium. Briefly comments on the old renovation process that was incorrectly done. Discusses probable causes of why the field deteriorated so quickly. Describes the inconsistency of the subsoil and how it makes watering difficult. Describes the baseball history of the Greenville Braves and forcasts a hopeful future.
