Abstract/Contents: | This is an evaluation study of three buffalograss cultivars (Common, Texoka, and Sharps's) under three mowing heights and three fertilization rates 0, 1, 2 lb N/1000 sq ft/yr. The effect of added nitrogen on the color of the three cultivars proved significant only for 'Texoka.' This study has shown that buffalograss can be grown in central Iowa and can be used in a low maintenance area. |
