Abstract/Contents:"Biological control of the fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith), in areas of overwintering and throughout its annual geographic distribution, is a highly desirable alternative to conventional reductionist methods. Fragmented efforts to advance biocontrol strategies against the fall armyworm have not to date effectively enhanced what nature has provided. This review assesses the impact of endemic parasitoids and predators as regulators of fall armyworm populations and identifies areas of research and development that must be addressed before significant advances can be made in importation and augmentation strategies."
