| Abstract/Contents: | Describes a study conducted in 1996 to evaluate fungicides "for their ability to control brown patch (Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn) at the Rutgers Turf Research Farm in North Brunswick, [New Jersey]." Results include that "since colonial bentgrasses are fairly tolerant of dollar spot, most fungicides in this study provided excellent control." Concludes that certain products "actually enhanced symptom expression of [the] disease compared to the untreated control." |
