| Abstract/Contents: | "Dollar spot (Sclerotina homeocarpa) is a common disease of golf course fairways throughout New England and the United States. Although there are several cultural management practices that can assist in reducing disease severity, use of protective chemicals usually is necessary to control the disease during periods favorable for growth of the pathogen. The objectives of this study were to: 1) assess the ability of Emerald to reduce dollar spot when applied in an early preventative application; 2) determine the impact of two nozzle types (droplet size) on dollar spot control; and 3) assess the ability of two confidental fungicides for their control of dollar spot." |
