Abstract/Contents:Discusses the appeal and the "ethical and physical aspects of the game." Describes golf around the world stating that "[golf] is played in all quarters of the globe." Concludes by referring to "three frequent errors made in speaking of the game. The implement played with is called a club...There are 18 holes in the course on the links and not 18 links on the course. Links was not originally plural, but now to golfers it signifies the ground the game is played over, and is, therefore also used in the singular."
