| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses maintenance of utility vehicles (UTVs). Recommends cleaning the air filter and changing the oil and oil filter to ensure that the UTV runs properly. Also suggests verifying that all nuts and bolts are tight, and maintaining the correct tire pressure. Lists five pieces of advice for maintaining a UTV in the winter, including to "add a carb heater"; "switch oils"; "check the battery"; "top off the [gas] tank"; and "stop corrosion." Concludes that "while these tips are good rules of thumb, it's important to check the owner's manual for additional needs of [each] specific UTV. Regular maintenance is a necessary part of utility vehicle operation." |
