Question:"There appears to be a fairly high concentration of Poa annua in the grass sward of Old King's Playing Field. We wonder whether some re-seeding might be advisable and we await your instructions."
Answer/Response:"Remembering the quality of the turf to which you refer from the time of our advisory visit we are able to confirm that Poa annua does exist amongst the bent (Agrostis) and other desirable grass species. We do not consider the amount of Poa annua is sufficient to justify re-seeding."
