| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) advisory visits. Details preparations for an advisory visit, a possible visit agenda, follow up, and service between visits. States that "planning the nature of the advisory visits will help to maximise the benfits gained. They are not pass or fail situations but a chance to identify management needs, address problems, conduct detailed benchmarking, as well as hold discussion with all parties involved. The relationship between client and STRI adviser stretches beyond the visit itself and should include regular contact if and when issues aries...Each client has specific and different needs that must be addressed. The more prepared and informed [the client] can be when planning/conducting the visit, the greater the likelihood of success and efficient usage of [STRI advisory] service." |
