Abstract/Contents:Discusses environmental conservation efforts at Royal Liverpool in the United Kingdom. States that "Royal Liverpool is situated on the North Wirral shoreline which supports vast sandbanks, promenades, embankments and sand dunes. The area, although heavily used for recreation, still holds huge numbers of birds year round...[and] Royal Liverpool has formed a partnership with Wirral Borough Council and the Cheshire Wildlife Trust to ensure that the western boundary of the golf course is managed sympathetically as a national nature reserve."
