Abstract/Contents: | Results of a fertigation experiment conducted in Dunedin, FL which adapted fertigation methods for use with a pre-existant irrigation system. Labor and costs were saved due to less time in application of liquid fertilizer, however, corrosion of sprinklers by the fertilizer increased repairs. It was suggested that a flush cycle at the end of each fertilization might have prevented this problem. |
