| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses "the interactions that occur between water conservation measures, and how these interactions can influence the net effectiveness of conservation programs (a combination of measures)." States that "evaluating the effectiveness of a group of measures instituted concurrently (a water conservation program) is often more complex than simply adding together the savings resulting from the individual measures. This is a result of interactions between water conservation measures." Describes the methodology employed, stating that it is "based on common sense and a basic understanding of where conservation measure savings are realized." Concludes that "these results indicate that interactions between conservation measures can result in significant alterations to demand reduction estimates." |
