Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted "to corroborate the beneficial effects of Lesco's Fe [iron] + N [nitrogen] tank-mixed with Drive. Another objective of this study was to compare the safety of three experimental EC formulations of fenoxaprop to Acclaim Extra 0.57 EW." Details the materials and methods used in the study. Reports that "a general decline in overall quality of the untreated plots was observed throughout the study." Results indicate that "Drive applied alone (12 and 27 June [2002]) at 0.5 lb/A [pounds per acre], reduced quality when compared to untreated plots on all rating dates." Concludes that "the effects of fenoxaprop ad Drive on bentgrass quality cannot be fairly compared due to the differences in application timings. In general, however, both herbicides elicited unacceptable levels of injury."
