Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to determine the effectiveness of Touchdown and Roundup for the control of a mixed tall fescue and creeping bentgrass stand. Details the materials and methods used in the study, stating that "all treatments were applied to a mature mixed stand of tall fescue and creeping bentgrass on 7 August 2002." Reports that "one day after treatment (1 DAT), a rapid burndown of turf was observed in plots treated with Quick-Pro. Significant burndown was provided by Reward at 1 DAT, but all other plots showed little herbicide injury at this time." Concludes that "only Quick-Pro and Round-up Pro Dry had provided complete control." |
