Abstract/Contents: | Describes how a fire, sparked by a wood-burning stove used to heat the maintenance facility of Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in Anaconda, Montana, destroyed the structure and all of its contents. States that "a neighbor who lives nearby came down and told [management] that there was a lot of smoke...by the time [they] got down there, it was fully engulfed." States that "among the big-ticket items lost were eight Toro riding mowers and four utility vehicles...fire officials estimated damage at $500,000." Details how the staff quickly began securing new equipment and that it is expected a new maintenance facility will be built by spring of 2007. |
