| Abstract/Contents: | Describes a test seeded during the fall of 1983 evaluating high maintenance on tall fescues. States that "this high maintenance evaluation receives preemergent weed control, is watered to prevent drought stress, is mowed at a 1 inch mowing height and receives 4 lbs. [pounds] (possible 5 lbs. in the future) of nitrogen/1000 square feet/growing season." Reports that "the maintenance conditions imposed will simulate a high-maintenance lawn or golf course fairway, but with a species of grass which may require less supplemental irrigation." |
