| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the results of disease reduction investigations conducted in 1989. States that "Sustain was included as a separate treatment in two separate fungicide trials to determine if it has any potential for reducing the incidence of large brown patch and dollar spot." Details methods and materials used in brown patch and dollar spot control evaluations." Reports that "it may require 2 or more years of Sustain application in the same plots to begin to show disease reduction. Also in a year where night temperatures are higher, disease pressure may be greater and true differences can be found. Temperatures during July and August were very mild (cooler than normal) and brown patch pressure was only moderate." |
