Question: | "About the first of June we will be ready to plant with creeping bent stolons a green which we have had to change. Do you think that time would be too late in the season for success?" |
Source of Question: | Pennsylvania |
Answer/Response: | "Bent stolons can be planted at any time of the year, but if they are planted in spring or summer they are certain to be damaged badly by the growth of weeds. The best time to plant greens in your locality is between August 15 and September 1." |
