Abstract/Contents:Discusses the Hygrothermograph, "a recording device that records (i) the temperature in degrees Celcius and (ii) the % Relative Humidity on a continuous 24 hour basis for between 7 to 14 days." Suggests that "the first step in the use of this instrument to be able to predict the onset of disease is to establish a criterion based on the precious disease history of the club." Concludes that "the Hygrothermograph is an excellent tool to enable the golf course superintendent to predict the onset of disease in turfgrass."
