Explains that "Lennar is building a...layout on the site with a design that harkens back to the classic era of golf course design, along the lines of Los Angeles and Riviera country clubs." States that "to capture that 1920s design for the...course...Lennar hired Orange County archited Todd Eckenrode." Describes the site, stating that "with the Saddleback Mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean seven miles to the west, the El Toro site features more than 1,000 native trees, such as pepper, pines and eucalyptus." Also states that "the project's centerpiece will be a 12,000-square-foot clubhouse styled after the famed Irvine House, a Victorian-style ranch." Concludes that the developers "want all aspects of the golf course [to] be in the genre of the 1920s."
