Abstract/Contents:"Turfgrass quality on golf course putting greens receiving few hours of sunlight and prolonged periods of excessive moisture is often reduced for a number of reasons. Shaded environments generally are associated with poor air movement, excessive soil moisture, and extended periods of leaf wetness. The resulting stress manifests itself as a reduction of stand density and the overall appearance of the putting surface. Additionally, stress related injury to the turfgrass often leads to an increased susceptibility to other turfgrass disorders including algae and moss invasion as well as infection from various turfgrass pathogens. This study was initiated to evaluate the efficacy of Revolution® in combination with various fungicides on improving turf quality growing in a shaded environment."
