| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a "two-year turfgrass evaluation programme [program] of perennial ryegrass and tall fescue varieties." Discusses the seeding, irrigation, establishment, and mowing, stating that "irrigation was applied on an as-need basis during the establishment period" and that "the mowing height was kept a little higher with the pedestrian rotary mower to allow for complete turfgrass recovery." Concludes that "turfgrass vigour [vigor] was a visual assessment primarily of plant height but also in general the maturity of the plot. Turfgrass vigour [vigor] was assessed on two occassions for both the ryegrass and tall fescues." |
