| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the history of sod, the demands put on it by various activities, and the importance of communication between groundskeepers and sod growers. Recommends going to the sod farm to set up the initial program and again to check on the growing process. Suggests investigating the sod and testing it in several places with the Shear Strength Tester.
