Abstract/Contents:"Inoculation studies with Pythium aphanidermatum were used to determine residual disease suppression on perennial ryegrass seedlings in response to fungicide seed treatment. Inoculation of seedling stands 18 days following planting indicated Apron 25W fungicide seed treatment effectively reduced Pythium foliar blighting while Koban seed treatment gave no effective control of the pathogen. Neither fungicide seed treatment effectively suppressed foliar blighting when stands were inoculated 28 days following planting."
