| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted "to determine the effiacy of plant growth regulators alone or in combination with a liquid fertilizer using color ratings, measurements of plant height, and fresh weight foliar yield." Details the methods and materials used in the study. Reports that "on the July 26th and August 3rd [2006] rating dates turfgrass treated with Primo MAXX plus Trimmit with or without fertilizer had unacceptable phytotoxicity (below 7.0)." Concludes that "generally, the rebound effects of the PGRs [plant growth regulators] used in this study were apparent as were the reduction in plant growth." |
