Abstract/Contents:"It may be concluded that repeated applications of gibberellic acid reduce the quantity of roots produced by Kentucky bluegrasss at both fertility levels used for this study. Additional research is needed to determine whether root production is reduced under field conditions with repeated applications of gibberellic acid. The additional top growth of spread of grasses obtained with repeated applications of gibberellic acid may be offset by such root reduction."
