| Abstract/Contents: | Profiles P. communis, a grass native to riversides and seasides in Korea. Presents an experiment conducted to dtermine the light interception and productive structure of P. communis. Details the methods and materials used, stating that "on the pure P. communis community, ten quadrats of 1m [meter] x 1m were settled, where above ground parts and under ground parts (dept 35 cm [centimeters]) had been removed." Reports that "relative light intensity passing the stacked leaves of the reed grassland was average 17.3%." States that "annual net productions of the reed grassland in 1982, 1983, and 1993 were 4.10, 4.25, 4.47 kg [kilograms]/m2 [square meters]/year, respectively." |
