| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to evalute the effectiveness of Certainity herbicide for the control of Poa trivialis infestation in creeping bentgrass. Details the methods and materials used in the study. reports that "creeping bentgrass (CB) discoloration/phtyotoxicity was exhibited as a yellowing and stunting of growth...The higher Certainty rate (0.0234 lb [pounds] ai/A [active ingredient per acre]) resulted in the most severe discoloration/phytotoxicity which became noticeable within 7-10 days after application." |
