Abstract/Contents:Briefly discusses possible injuries caused by using liquid ammonia as fertilizer. States that "although the ammonia in liquid ammonia is the same as the ammonia in sulphate of ammonia, in the latter it is tied up in a chemical combination and is only released gradually and in such a way that it can be taken up by the plants without being harmful in moderate applications...It should be possible to dilute it sufficiently for practicle use through the watering system."
