| Abstract/Contents: | "Fungicides were evaluated at the Valentine Turfgrass Research Center, University Park, PA, on Kentucky bluegrass maintained under home lawn/golf course fairway management conditions. Fertilizer (NH4NO3) was applied on Mar 24 and Apr 7 at 1.0 lb actual N per 1000 sq ft. Individual plots, 15 ft x 3 ft, were arranged in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications. Fungicides were applied with a CO2-powered boom sprayer, using T-jet 8004 nozzles, at 30 psi, in water equivalent to 2 gal per 1000 sq ft. Fungicide applications were made on Apr 14 and 29, and May 13 and 28, except as noted in the table treatments were visually evaluated on May 26 and Jun 9. Data obtained were subjected to analysis of variance and Waller-Duncan K-ratio t test. Data from Jun 9 are presented. Excellent disease suppression was obtained with Baycor, Vorlan, Chipco 26019, and S1555." |
