Abstract/Contents:Discusses yellow spot caused by Oscillatoria and Phormidium. Presents a study conducted to determine the effectiveness of several chemicals on quality of creeping bentgrass during the summer. Details the methods and materials used in the study, stating that "treatments were applied every two weeks beginning in June and ending in late July or early August of [2006 and 2007]." Reports that "yellow spot unexpectedly developed uniformly across the study area in late July 2006." Also reports that in 2007 "some fungicide treatments had striking effects. Plots treated with Protect, Fore Rainshield, Alude + Protect and Alude + Fore sustained less damage than was observed in all other plots."
