| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "evaluate...formulations of Roundup for their ability to control creeping bentgrass and to compare them to the market standard Roundup PRO." Explains that "all treatments were applied in 44 gpa [gigapascals] using a CO2 pressurized (40psi [pounds per square inch]) sprayer equipped with a flat-fan nozzle." Reports that "within 4 days of the initial application...percent necrosis within each creeping bentgrass plot ranged from 25 to 54%." Notes that "based on the results of this study, effective control of creeping bentgrass maintained as a fairway can be achieved from the high rates of all glyphosate formulations evaluated in this study." |
