So much of the world has embraced the idea that golf courses are a great way to increase the value of housing; yet there seems to be much less concern with creating a corps of golfers to play those courses." States that "sooner or later, as countries in southern Europe, north Africa and its surrounding regions rush to build golf courses - because they believe that golf brings high-spending visitors - there will be a point at which supply outpaces demand, and tourists are spread so thinly that business plans are blown out of the water." |
